Bardale
Addlebrough and Semerwater from Bardale

Bardale is a little-known dale with its high end at Fleet Moss (above Hawes) and its lower end at Marsett. The old Roman road (Cam High Road) to Bainbridge runs along one edge of the dale. A footpath is the only route along Bardale itself. In the distance are Addlebrough, a flat-topped hill, and Semerwater, a large natural lake.
