Grimwith Reservoir
Boulders and drystone walls at Grimwith Reservoir

Grimwith, which serves Bradford, is Yorkshire Water's largest reservoir, holding nearly 22 million cubic metres. It was opened in 1864 but greatly enlarged between 1976 and 1983. There is a circular walk (4.5 miles) around it but this photo was taken from Backstone Edge Lane, one of several ancient tracks used for access to the mines on Hebden Moor.
